The executive officers and the other members of the Board of Directors are the stewards of our organization and are the representatives of the interests and views of all members. They are responsible for creating a shared vision, providing leadership and policy direction, ensuring the health of the organization and creating an overall sense of purpose. Read more here.
It is time once again to have elections for officiers and directors for the Board of Directors for our esteemed association. Elections are held every two years. Read more here.

The first step is to Open the Call for Nominations for all members to get a chance to nominate someone, even themselves. This opens on September 1, 2022. Nominating is easy! Fill out the online form here.

The Call for Nominations closes on September 12, 2022, Calabar Founder's Day.

Voting for the Slate of Candidates starts on October 2, 2022, at 11 PM. Electronic ballots will be emailed to members.

President and Vice President
Candidates to be named
The President shall be the chief executive officer and shall preside at all meetings of the Board of Directors and its Executive Committee, if such a committee is created by the Board.
The Vice President shall perform the duties of the President in the absence of the President and shall assist that office in the discharge of its leadership duties.
Secretary
Candidates to be named
The Secretary shall give notice of all meetings of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee, shall keep an accurate list of the directors, and shall have the authority to certify any records, or copies of records, as the official records of the organization. The Secretary shall maintain the minutes of the Board of Directors' meetings and all committee meetings
Treasurer
Candidates to be named
The Treasurer shall be responsible for conducting the financial affairs of the organization as directed and authorized by the Board of Directors and Executive Committee, if any, and shall make reports of corporate finances as required, but no less often than at each meeting of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee.
